Terms of Service

Effective date: April 11, 2026 · Last updated: April 11, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or otherwise accessing or using the Parallx (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you may not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the operator of this platform (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are between 13 and 18 years of age, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. By using the Service you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements.

3. Accounts and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information.
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • Not share your credentials or allow others to access your account.
  • Use one account per person; duplicate or impersonation accounts are prohibited.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently.

4. Use of Conversation Data for Model Training

By using the Service, you acknowledge and expressly consent to the following data practices:

  • Training data.Messages you send and responses you receive through the Service (“Conversation Data”) may be collected, processed, and used as training or fine-tuning data to improve the AI models available on the platform. This includes improving model accuracy, coherence, safety, and domain-specific performance.
  • Anonymisation. Before Conversation Data is used for training, we apply reasonable technical measures to strip or obfuscate directly identifying information (such as your name or email address). However, you should not include sensitive personal information — financial data, government-issued identification numbers, health records, passwords, or similar — in your messages.
  • Third-party model developers. Developers who publish models on the marketplace may receive aggregated or anonymised samples of Conversation Data relevant to their own models for the purpose of improving those models. Developers are contractually bound to use this data solely for model improvement and not to re-identify individual users.
  • Retention. Raw Conversation Data may be retained for up to 24 months from the date of collection. After that period, it is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.

5. Use of Feedback for Model Improvement

The Service includes a feedback mechanism (star ratings and written comments) that you may use to evaluate model responses. By submitting feedback, you agree that:

  • RLHF and quality signals. Your ratings and written feedback constitute Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF) signals. These signals are used by us and by model developers to rank, filter, or re-weight training examples, adjust model behaviour, and deprecate underperforming models.
  • Aggregated reporting. Feedback data may be summarised and shared with model developers in aggregate form (e.g., average star rating, common themes in written feedback). Individual feedback entries are not attributed to you by name when shared with developers.
  • Moderation. We may review written feedback to detect abuse, spam, or policy violations. Feedback that violates our Acceptable Use Policy may be removed.

6. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Generate or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or reproduce the underlying weights or parameters of any model hosted on the Service.
  • Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security features of the Service.
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or other non-human means to send messages at rates that exceed published rate limits.
  • Probe or exploit vulnerabilities in models for purposes other than responsible, disclosed security research.
  • Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.

We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts in violation of this policy without prior notice.

7. Developer Responsibilities

If you register as a Developer and publish models on the Service, you additionally agree to:

  • Ensure your model endpoint is available, performant, and compliant with this platform's API contract.
  • Not expose or misuse user data received via the platform's routing infrastructure.
  • Promptly address security vulnerabilities or policy violations identified in your model.
  • Accept that models that repeatedly fail health checks or receive sustained negative feedback may be automatically disabled.

8. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of original content you submit through the Service. By submitting Conversation Data and feedback, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, sublicensable licence to use, reproduce, adapt, and process that content solely for the purposes described in Sections 4 and 5. This licence does not transfer ownership of your content to us or to any third party.

9. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers

The Service and all AI model outputs are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. You are solely responsible for evaluating the accuracy and suitability of any model output before relying on it.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the greater of USD $50 or the amounts you have paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where feasible, notify you by email or via an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after the updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation where possible, and otherwise through binding arbitration or the courts of the jurisdiction in which the operator is established.

14. Contact

If you have questions about these Terms, please contact us through the platform's official support channel or the contact information provided on the Service.
